7.3 Question
 

I'm trying to sort out the differences between the different 7.3s.

I have a 2002 7.3 so I know pretty much about this one.
This is what I think I have so far, please correct me if I am wrong.

???? -1994 7.3 IDI
1994.5 - 1997 7.3 DI 1.0
1998 No Superdutys
1999-1999 7.3DI 1.0
1999.5-2003 2.0

I know you can convert between the 1999 7.3 to the 1999.5 7.3, does this conversion also apply to the 1994.5 - 1997?

You have the years right, what parts are you trying to convert?

I'm not converting I'm just trying to find out if it's possible. I know you can convert 99 to 99.5 I'm assuming you can convert the 1994.5 - 1997 motor also since it's the same

I meant what parts are you trying to figure out...

There are a bunch of differences between all the years... So without knowing which ones your specifically going after, it's tough for us to say...

the e99 is pretty much the 94.5-97 the e99 has different injectors,elec fuel,and a intercooler
