61 Fuel Sending Unit Part Number Help

I am looking for a fuel sending unit for my 61 Econoling pick up. Would anyone know of anyone parting one out, any part number(s) or of any other models that used the same unit. Any source help is appreciated!

Thanks.

Welcome to FTE

C2DZ-9275-A (replaced C0DZ-9275-A) .. Fuel Sending Unit Assy-Includes Float & Gasket / Obsolete

Applications: 1961/67 Econoline / 1960/64 Falcon except Ranchero/Station Wagon and Sedan Delivery.

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 8 = 800-543-4959.

WESLEY OBSOLETE PARTS in Liberty KY has 18 = 606-787-5293.
--------------------------------------------------------------
But, do not buy one until you check the float, the usual cause why the dash fuel gauge reads in-correctly.

The float is made from two pieces of copper soldered together. Solder breaks down, gas seeps in, float settles to the bottom of the tank!

C0AZ-9202-B .. Fuel Sending Unit Float / Available from Ford.

Applications ~ ALL 1957/79 Pasenger Cars & Trucks / 1961/79 Econolines / 1966/79 Bronco's.

MSRP: $14.49 // FTE sponsor PARTSGUYED.COM (Horizon Ford in Seattle) price: $10.43.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
COAF-9276-A .. Fuel Sending Unit Gasket / Available from Ford.

Same applications as above except 1961/77 F/N/NT Series trucks with in-cab fuel tanks.

MSRP: $0.63 // PARTSGUYED.COM price: $0.46.

Thank you for the reply, I appreciate it. I took the tank out and had it cleaned out and re-lined as it was badly rusted. The unit itself is in poor shape so I have called Green Sales and they are sending one now.

Thanks again for the help!

Does anybody have the ID/OD and material thickness of this gasket? Have to replace with Viton and need dimensions of gasket to cross reference. TIA

Anybody have a spare they can measure? Thanks.

COAF-9276-A: It's actually a neoprene O-ring = 2.41" I.D. x 2.58" O.D. - .125" thick.

The same puppy was used on ALL fuel tank sending units installed in: 1960/79 Passenger Cars, 1961/79 Econolines, 1966/79 Bronco's and 1967/79 F100/350's except 1967/77's with the in-cab fuel tank (uses a cork gasket).

Available from Ford, prolly every autoparts store for less than a buck.

NumberDummy, thank you for the dimensions. I have a 69 Bronco with a Cummins 4bt thats been in it since 06-07 and the neoprene is not diesel rated and is disinigrating and have heard bio is even more detrimental. Thanks again for information.
