body lift or suspension lift?
I have an 2004 F250 FX4 4X4 that I asume is stock, I have 295-75-16 tires on it now and that is as big as I can get without a lift they said. My question is I want to get either 305-75-16 OR 315-75-16 tire. Can I just put a body lift on it or do I need a suspension lift? Thanks for any info..

I would just put a leveling kit on it. I'm not sure what the max size of tire you could go on that year but I have 35X12.50's on my stock 09'. The tires only rub when I'm at full lock and hit a little bump but thats it. It would be easier than doing a body lift.

Body lifts are epic fail on a Super Duty.
Assuming your truck is 4wd, get a zero-rate pack for the front leaf springs: ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2" Mini Spring Pack '99 - '04 Ford Super Duty 32000 It says it will clear the tire size you have now, so since you already clear those, expect to clear at least an inch larger and wider. |
ok, so the tires I have now are equivalent to 33" but I want to put on 315-75-16 ( 35" ) do you think after putting on the spring pack I should be ok still?
