Roller cam ID Help
 

I got a roller cam that I can't seem to Id. Have no backgroud on motor.
It did come apart and with the parts it had a Parker Funnel intake which Iam not planning to use . Not sure if the cam is for the Parker. Need a more HO type cam.
The numbers on the end are CD 13009Z 361005 CWC any help with my problem? Thanks George

The numbers probably won't help you, measure the lobe lift and duration and post it up.

Well there was a Cam Dynamics 13009 camshaft for a small block Ford. Advertised duration of 300 degrees for both Intake and Exhaust. I found mention of it here:

Unfortunately only the left half of the table on that website is visible (to me) so the rest of the data is missing.:-huh

Hey Beanscoot thanks for the info this will be of great help. This cam is not what I need to much go go and RPM to come in . I have a 85 302 bored 40 over roller,I plan on using a dual plane high rise with a nice stock cam or one that will come in at around idle to 1500.Any ideas on that. I want a good running motor where the little woman won't say let me out of this truck. LOL I am running a 5peed with pretty tall gears.Thanks

One more thing I will be running E7 heads that are ported.:-X0A6

The 5.0 HO cam might be a good choice.... especially if you can get a good used one for cheap. Possibly a local engine rebuilder might have one taken out during a rebuild.

Now I'm not certain that what you have indeed is that Cam Dynamics camshaft in the link, it just seems suspiciously likely. As Conanski suggested, measure the cam lift to find out more.

I think that is likely close to what I have considering all the rest of the motor that I got with the trade. It had a Parker funnel webb intake the heads were ported some what,not sure what the FO had in mind with the motor to do.The cam is for sure used and I would rather put together a motor that everything works together,like I have always said the cam is the last thing you get in the mix of building a motor.Thanks for ya'lls help I will more than likely get the stock profile and get something close to that.
