what size are the oem speakers in my 99 f250
 

i have a 99 f250 extended cab super duty v10. what size are the rear speakers>? one is blown and i need to buy new ones.

5 1/4" round, 5X7 or 6x8 will all work.

The factory ones are 6X8, most of the aftermarket dont make 6X8's so you will prob have to get 5X7's.

I believe that you can buy "adapters" to install 6"x9" speakers.

They're 6X8's and fairly easy to change out. I changed all 4 of mine in about 45 minutes. A lot of the online electronics retailers allow you to search by speaker size, give it a shot. You might be surprised.

I found 4- 6X8 Rockford Fosgate's on SonicElectronix.com for 65$ a pair. They fit perfectly and sound great.

i have the extended cab, is it hard to remove the rear panels??? pics on where the serews are.
