The verbosity of your description must have overwhelmed the audience, as no one has replied in 3 days. Hmmm.
That said, I will make the stab in the dark that the starter motor turns the engine over, the engine fails to start, there is fuel in the tank, the CEL or SES light(s) are not on, and when you check for codes you get nothing. Oh, and there is no spark.
I would check all the fuses, and the power to the computer. I am trying to remember what I just read the other day about something that disables the spark when it has a certain condition. Brain fade doesn't help. I suppose it will show up later.

Have you checked the "kill switch," the thing that is tripped by a sharp bump to the vehicle?

Glad to hear the problem is solved and that it was both simple and inexpensive to fix.
