How 'bout another flatbed

Hi All,

I've been lurking on the board for a couple weeks and thought I'd introduce myself with a few pictures of my latest acquisition, as I know we all like pictures. Its a 93 F350 RC 4x4, 351W 5-speed with 3.55 gears, 315 75 R16 BFG All Terrains on 16x10 Metal Moto wheels. It's a pretty unique looking rig which is one of the things that attracted me to it. If any of you are from the Olympia, WA area you may have seen this truck around town as that is where I bought it from. It's new home is in North Kitsap, WA. It has almost 200K miles. Picked it up for $2500.

I'm a middle aged guy (my user name gives a hint to my age) that still enjoys the older ones. This will be used for doing work around my property. Hope you all enjoy the pictures

Greg

NICE truck......Just a plain jane, simple work truck....I like it.....

That bed is one of my favorites...Simple and gets the job done....The only things that I'd do to it-

-Bed marker lights
-Thick mesh over the rear window frame of the bed
-Another tool bok, under the drivers' side
-A nice piece of I-Beam steel for a push bar
-Re-paint the bed....

Otherwise, AWESOME truck....:-X22

And welcome to the FTE family....:-wink

Great looking rig, I love the tire and rim combination. Love the fact it's a 351.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

I was hoping to find an F350 RC 4x4 SRW with a narrow flatbed dump for working in the woods. I looked for months and nothing came up. This is everything I wanted except the dump which I don't really need, but sure would have been cool. The bed was built by the PO who was a steel fabricator. It's welded to the frame so retrofitting it to dump is not likely to happen.

All those areas are on my radar but for now I'll just be sorting it out mechanically. I drove it for over 100 continuous miles the day I picked it up without any issues. The PO was preparing the truck for a trip to Alaska so he'd done a few things like new clutch, windshield, water pump and hoses, engine block heater and more.

It will be function before form for this rig. It will be put to work around here hauling dirt and gravel, firewood, hay, brushing out and maybe even some log skidding.
