351c header fit in a 55 f100 with MII

Hey guys! i have been busy once again with the truck. I have one problem now, (like its the first or last) i have my engine all ready to go back in the frame. I had to make my own oil pan or should i say modify the one i had. When i had the motor in last so i could get the pan to fit , i tried the long tube headers i had bought that worked when it was in the truck with all stock setup except the tube crossmember to hold the motor in. Now that its in the truck with a MII and power steering rack (with out the steering done yet as well) The driverside header wont work. I have called Summit and Jegs and there seems to be no shorty headers for a 351c? What have some of you done to get around this? Thanks Roger

Sanderson has headers for 351c Sanderson Headers for Ford 351C Cleveland and 351/400M Big Block V8 engine applications.

Well Im GLAD to say i was wrong the long tube headers i have will work. I just have to modify the trans crossmember i made thats all. With this being said i also tried to put the drive shaft back in. NOPE!!! It wont fit in the tail stock because theres a crossmember about 6" back that wont let it fit in. I guess im going to have modify that aswell. Thanks for the help!
