Wiper Motor

Looking at wiper motors. What wiper motors (from what type of vehicles) have you all used in the 53-55 F-100?

Mid 80 jeep cherokee motor made in france worked fine for my 54, just some small mods to fit it in.

Not for those on a budget but you won't find a nicer setup...

What kind of mods are you talking for the Cherokee setup?
Do you have pics? Thanks

I used one from a 88 BroncoII in my 53, mounted it to the original wiper mechanism.

No pixs, it worked so well my buddy got one for his 53 Dodge rod. Very easy to mount. I Googled it B4 I got one @ the junk yard. Lots of pixs.

In my F1, I used an eary 90's cherokee motor. I had already installed a steering column from a cherokee, GM column, so I got the motor to make the wiring easier.

Here's a write up by my father on the motor/switch we used in my '55. The images appear to be broken now, but you can find them in his gallery (t900enforcer)

It's worked out great since installing it 5ish years ago.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I was working under the dash and was about to remove what I thought was a vacuum wiper motor only to grab a wiring harness. I put some power to it and the darn thing worked great. So I'm going to keep the 2 speed motor and just buy a new switch. Thanks again.
