The next time I'm home, I'm going to go ahead with my plan to drop a 12v 5.9 and nv4500 into my F250. That should be August, but we'll see. Anyways, I have the tools I need except a cherry picker. Who makes a good one?

my dads 580C/K CASE does pretty good haha... but the 1 from Summit Racing is good and probably just about anyone out there just get 1 that can handle the weight and stay away from the Harbor Freight 1s anything that i have ever got from there was junk

harbor freight if you have one nearby has pretty decent ones for the price. You would want the kind that has the very long extended legs so its stable with such a heavy engine.

Money isn't a huge concern; I'm more concerned with quality. I want something that is going to last a long time, and I usually shy away from Harbor Freight. Are there any higher quality, but higher priced, hoists out there? Thanks again.

So what r u doing in Afghanistan?? in the military??? and whats in ur truck now?? what makes u want 2 put a Cummins in ur Ford that'll give those Dodge guy reason 2 talk S*** on FORDs...

I'm a civilian contractor. I run the high voltage plant on a FOB here. I want the Cummins because in my opinion, it is the best diesel engine I can get for it from any of the big three, and they're very reliable. I don't partake in the big Chevy/Dodge/Ford fanboi banter, having owned and enjoyed all three, so what so and so says about whatever doesn't really make any difference to me
