Rear End Width?

Alright, ive done a lot of hunting online and im not finding what im looking for and hoping that someone can help me here. I would measure my own axle, being as though i own a 93 f150 with an 8.8, only problem with that is it's sitting at my father's place in missouri with a messed up motor (massive water leak from screw type holes on my block located on the side but behind the passenger side head, also if you have any idea why water would be pouring out of that hole you can help me with that too! Uhg because im completely stumped there) and i live in iowa. Sooo i need the wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface width of an 8.8 out of a 92-96 f150.

Im toying with some long term ideas for my truck. I know that the engine carriage out of a 01+ crown vic will fit perfectly between my frame rails, only having to worry about mounting and then things like steering linkage. Basically obtaining a arm style independant front suspension, rack and pinion steering, a 5x5 bolt pattern (which opens up my options for wheels to an all new level), an astounding drop, and motor mounts for a newer 4.6/5.4
Yes I said 4.6/5.4, im wanting to drop a healthy 5.4 (possibly supercharged, haha) in my 93 f150. I want something different, if you havent been able to tell yet.
Now for the reason im wanting to know the rear width...well lets just say that i know that the wheel mount surface to wheel mount surface of a newer mustang IRS system is 62" if you catch my drift haha

Anyways if any of you cal help me with those two problems it would be greatly appreciated! Also tell me what you think about my crazy plan

My research indicates the approximate WMS to WMS dimension is 65 1/8"

Interesting project you have there!
