Front fuel gauge reads empty..

I own a 92 F350 dually and I have dual fuel tanks. The rear tank reads fine, but the front always reads empty. I believe this my be a float issue but i really dont have the time to trouble shoot if this isnt the issue. I am new to the forum, so can anyone point me in the right direction.

No suggestions on the fuel gauge issue but I'll move your thread to the correct forum to try to get you some help.:-X22

Yep it sounds like the sending unit. Pretty common and its and easy fix.

More than likely you are right.
If the needle just points to "E" than the float may have sunk.
If the needle pegs passed "E" than you may have a short to ground in the wiring.
