Wvo 7.3 conversion help needed

My 95 f350 has fuel lines and a valve from the previous owner that had a tank in the bed. I wanna start running a poor mans wvo system. I'm thinking a steel 55 gallon drum in the bed with 2 heaters on it. 1 120 v heater and a 12v heater. Also use an outboard motor inline spin on filter. Would this setup work ok? I'll be running diesel on startup and shutdown and oil once warmed up.

Anyone have opinions?

How about trying here? Forums - Powered by Social Strata

There's a lot more SVO user 'traffic' there, and plenty of experts on the subject.

You won't get the oil anywhere near hot enough with that setup and you'll damage your expensive motor. You can DIY a good coolant-heated 2-tank system if you don't want to go with a kit like the Vegistroke. More info and help available here: DIY WVO Components - Ford Powerstroke Diesel Forum. Also, use an aluminum tank. Steel reacts with veg oil and polymerizes it, causing a chicken skin to form. This will fluff off and clog your fuel lines, eventually making its way to your injectors, etc.
