Page 338 of my owners manual.

Add Motorcraft Premium Gold Engine Coolant or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSS-M97B51-A1.

thank you. does auto zone carry this or do i have to go to the ford house?

There's a couple of Ford coolants that meet that spec, but they're labeled to NOT use them if originally filled with a different color.

See: Motorcraft® Engine Cooling System Products and Engine Coolants

Dealer is a certain source. I've yet to add coolant to my '07 but she goes to the dealer for preventive maintenance services so they may be topping it off when needed.

I'm guessing the "Bittering Agent" is to discourage our animals from licking it and getting poisoned.
