Success FInally! Now troubleshooting.
 

After a few months of hunting down transmission parts from the darkest recesses if the internet, I've got my 1958 F100 running and shifting nicely. I couldn't get the clutch to disengage until I adjusted the release fork to the end of the slave cylinder pushrod. Now it shifts fine, but the throwout bearing is rubbing against the Pressure plate release fingers, which couldn't be good.

Other troubleshooting items:
My new fuel pump spits oil out of a machined pinhole at high rpms. What is going on with this? Should I replace the part, fix a leak elsewhere, or what?

The motor sat for at least 6 years before I got to it and replaced the oil, filters, plugs, wire, and rebuilt carb. When I took it for the first test drive and let the engine run for a while I noticed some small seeping from the head gasket. But now the seeping has just about quit. Is this common for such an old motor.

The engine fires up first try and sounds great, but when I examine the third and first spark plug, I can a whisp of white smoke coming from beyond the spark plug. at the base of another plug I can see a little bubbling of oil, I think. Would this be a leaky valve?

Lastly, there is a small hole--3/8th " on the right side of the block that has a small plastic plug in it that doesn't seem to belong. Currently it leaks oil. Should I put in a mini-freeze plug there. Thanks!

Can't help you with the clutch, but WRT the other problems, I'd say :

1.Pull the fuel pump,and if possible, clean ,re-gasket,and re-install.Replace(under warranty?) if problem persists.

2.Re-torque the heads.The gasket might have dried/shrunk somewhat over time, and may heal itself.

3.Plug?Is it threaded,or a press fit?I'd pull it,and investigate,but then I'm often my own worst enemy.
