99 Xpediton, no power to the ac compressor

I am not getting an power to my compressor, I have swapped the relay, diode and checked every fuse, I did jump the switch that was on the line on the passenger side front of the vehicle and I still could not get the compressor to kick on.

Does anyone have a link to the ac schematics?

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where the low pressure/cycle switch is located?

Or does anyone know what path the ac system uses as far as what relay, pcm, fuses and such power up what other items in regards to getting the needed voltage to the compressor.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you check the freon level? Mine shut off because of that...Just a thought
Also, the low side switch is the one you did the jumper on I believe...

I may have done the high side switch, I did somemore research and found out the low side switch is under the plastic cover by the battery and around all the wiring, I still need to jump that switch, thanks for the reply

yep, that's the one. It's on the accumulator. I bet it works when you jump it.

You'd do best to address HVAC issue is the HVAC forum. Start with the FAQs.

I did, thats how I found out that in 99 the X has a low and high pressure switch, the low pressure switch was jumped for a few seconds and the compressor kicked on, so I either have low freon and a leak, or a bad low pressure switch, my bet is low freon and a leak :-(

Glad you got it to kick on! My leak was a slow one at the schrader valve on the low side. Make sure they are nice a snug. Hopefully its just the switch though:)
