Thanks a lot. I appreciate you guys for welcoming me in. A bit about me. Ive owned every brand of truck in the early to late 90s but have been strictly ford since for one reason only. Dependability!!!!! People can say whatever they want but Ive talked many Chevy only men going FORD after they open up and get educated. Live in Elkhorn Neb on the river and started my latest project. A 79 f250 ranger conventional cab 4x4. Im learning a ton and doing everything pretty much myself. pretty easy to work on but finding the parts and info can be at times difficult. Im 43 hunt and fish reload and 4 wheel with a passion. Im excited about my new venture and look forward to all info. I will be posting some pics when I learn the process here. May be a bit since Im somewhat new to the computer too. Thanks Rick

Ive got some pics of my 79 f250 in the garage loaded in my files. trying to get them to this site is where Im having the problem. Thanks Rick:-banghead

You can either post them in here, or, you can put them in your "Garage" on your profile. Click where it says "Garage is empty, add now" below your user name at the top left of a post. It should take you to a page, where you can load pics into your "garage". You may have to reduce their size to get them to load. Let me know if that works.

So, what are your plans for the truck? If you like, you can check out the thread for my 67 build. Just click on the "1967 F-100 Project" Just above the picture of my 250 in my signature.

Rick, if you need any help with your truck give me a shout. I've had almost every part off of my truck and i have the factory repair manuals. I also have a few parts trucks. Let me know if you need anything!

thanks. much appreciated. Im waiting for my main and rod bearings, and headers coming in tomorrow. but will soon be looking for a good box and driver side door. Just taking care of things as my budget will allow me for now but would like to locate or atleast get references to a good conditioned box, tailgate, and driver side door.
