Ok VA chaptr. Lets start planning for a G2G, I and several others have mentioned about a g2g for the last month or 2ish. I think its time to start planning. Someone has to step up get things moving.

I'm not that far from there, 45 mins to an hr tops, doesn't bother me, of course i have to install new batteries, and a new starter, quick easy fixes though. still need a time, one that everyone could make? or a good portion of everyone

saturday nights are generally open...i'd give it til march to start staying a little warmer after dark. bonfires just are not as great when it is bitter cold more than two feet from the fire.

Restarting this thread. Need a location

GLR 12-17-2011 10:10 AM

One time we thought about "regional" G2G's. I think state wide would be better. That way we could see Chandler in his pink TuTu. Seriously, it's hard to find a central location. Richmond is about 4hrs from me as is VB. Maybe Lynchburg, Farmville area? At 8mpg I try not to travel too much with my 87. Now if I swipe my wife's car.....

awils961 12-17-2011 10:22 AM

This is true, 8-12mpg, in the truck, I try not to travel alot ether. but a g2g before I leave VA, would be worth it. and I'm thinking farmville. theres a hapton inn, days inn, comfort inn. sees like a nice old town. hopefully some good bars, and ma n pa style resturants. Looking for specifc places right now, but on the when, no idea

You want a place in Farmville? Charlies Resturant on the river. Main St right next to Greenfront Furniture Co. Has a parking lot attached.
Anything else you wanna know?

Is that place owned by MD Charlie? = discount :)

Just did a quick mapquest: Farmville is about a 3 hr trip for our furthest members (Wytheville,VA Beach, Winchester, Manassas)
