Late '80s F250

I was thinking about buying a late 80's F250. Just look for some advice on those trucks. What problems might I run into or is it a good idea to buy one. Things along those lines.

You can usually get a good deal on these era trucks right now. They are not really that collectable yet, and if you find a 460, they like gas so nobody really wants those either. The problem with them is they are getting pretty old, and any of them you buy will need work. The main thing to look for is rust on the frame and frame crossmembers, and inside the rear cab corners, and the rear bed/tailgate area.
