oh yeah, and I want to run my 285/75/16 on a 9-10" wheel. gotta find the right backspacing/offset though. I don't want a 'roller skate' look.

All your trucks look great guys! that looks like a really nice kit too, i happened to go with the Icon 2" minipack and because it was an F250, 4" readylift rear blocks. looks pretty good now, tires are on the small side

Just wanted to include one last picture for all of you.. as you can see, the icon leveling kit is just 4 short springs, where as the zone kit appears to be a combination of an add a leaf and a minipack. this kit works fine, but the zone looks to be pretty nice

Yes b/c the shock rides on top of the leaf springs

Timbren makes a suspension kit for towing its around $200 and axel and works great. But if you use the truck off road it will ride rough .

when i installed my front leaf spring i used a 30MM socket with 3/4 by 1/2 reducer. I used my three foot breaker bar and i slid a four foot long 1 1/4" pipe over it. I at 210lbs and my cousin at 195lbs both pulled down on the pipe untill we couldnt move it anymore. its been six months with no problem, we also did the same thing to my dads 2000 diesel when i installed his lift five years ago and its still tight as hell

only thing is a mini pack wont arch the springs to give you more travel from the bump stop to spring mount, where the Zone kit has the long add a leaf and mini springs that A: arches the spring to get back some travel and B: the mini pack gives you the lift and a nicer ride since the add a leaf isnt 3/4 inch thick making it ride like a brick

Just bumping this up.

My truck already has 3 leaf springs one eather side up front. I was thinking about getting a shackle lift because I didn't want any change in ride quality. In this case I will need new shocks.does this zone kit make the ride a lot stiffer? Just wandering. The kit looks really good. Just looking into all my options.

Honestly I don't think there was much if any change in the ride quality. If anything it was better because all of my shocks were shot. I replaced them with the Zone Nitros all around. Fair price, holding up well. No complaints.
