Hello,
I have been doing some reading in here... WOW I am looking at possibly constructing a Bio Diesel set-up for my own use, maybe a friend here or there. I have read quite a bit on FabMan's research.. My question is this.. (DON'T SHOOT ME) where do i start? Plans? Vessells, suggested ideas. Where can I purchase the ingredients needed etc?
I will be hopefully purchasing my 97 F250 with a 7.3 Powerstroke, and would like an alternate energy source.

BTW, get your source of waste oil figured out before starting anything.

Lots of info to read, and ideas to ponder. The Open method seems the best, I am skeptical on the appleseed method with the water wash. I would really like to see some good photos and schematics of building an "open" system

I run the most basic and primitive system, (by todays standard), and use modified drums to process and water wash. I do single stage reactions.

Binuya: Thanks for the photo. I am overhwhelmed at the options, and set ups of bio systems. I was looking at the B100? site lastnight with the modified water heater reactor etc. I am just not sure where to even start. I would say i would produce40-50 gals a week. Bear with me, as I over read alot. haha
