You just push down on the stock 51 windshield wiper switch to make it spray.

Really? I don't think mine has any contacts for a washer, I'll have to look but it looks just like the diagram posted earlier.

I havn't hook mine up but the switch i got from classic haulers pushs down so i just thought it had a hook up. I have a another switch in my truck for the intermediate wipers [got it from LMC.] It also pushs in so hope one of them has a hook up. I was thinking if there is room to drill a hole in the chrome bezel that covers the hole were the arm comes thought the cab you can run the hose up along the wiper arm. If you got yours right there take a look. Mine is 30 miles away and i can't see that far ANYMORE.LOL

This is a good subject and if I were using the original hinges on the hood I don't think it would be much of a problem for the 56, but I have a forward tilt hood. I'm thinking that just routing a few more yards of hose it would still work. Midfifty sells a very nice looking nozzle but very expensive
Mid Fifty F-100 Parts - Windshield Washer Spray Nozzle at $50. I found similar nozzles on a older gm car can't remember the model, think it was a Chevy Lumina. They were mounted on the hood so should spray a fair distance.

I haven't figured out the hose/nozzle part but have a suggestion for the pump and bottle. A 1990-96 t-bird and maybe the cougar have a bottle with a pump together mounted behind the front bumper and of course 12 VDC. You can buy nozzles, plastic aftermarket. chuck

Starting to believe I will just stick with the original glass bottle set up mine came with. After cleaning it up, it appears to be in excellent condition.

Now if I could just get that far on my truck.
