SOLD: 2002 7.3L F250 CCSB 4x4
 

This is a feeler ad, I'm getting to the point of having to get rid of one of the two trucks, and I may end up keeping the 2005 F350 6.0 (can't believe I'm considering this:-X15) Anyway just trying to gauge interest, and get feedback on how reasonable I have this thing priced. The following is a direct quote of a craigslist ad so bear with me.



2002 F250 Crew Cab 4WD 7.3L Powerstroke with 189,000 miles $13,000.


I have finally decided that with business being as slow as it is, one truck has got to go. I am upside down on one, so I am making the hard choice in selling my beloved 7.3.

Truck is in great shape overall, but does have some damage to the right rear fender. I was in a hurry once backing my trailer and got into it. I have a quote for 700 dollars to fix, just haven't had time, and It isn’t really that bad. I’m an honest person, and felt obligated to point this out. I have the price set to take account for negotiating, meaning I expect to receive lower offers, which I will entertain.

I have done a few mods, nothing serious, which include:

• Eagle Alloy 16 x 8 polished wheels
• Bilstein 5100 series shocks (zinc ones not the yellow and blue)
• 5 Inch straight piped exhaust
• Open element (BHAF napa 6636) intake
• 2 inch leveling kit up front with taller block in the rear
• Diesel Innovations Pre fuel pump in-tank kit
• Crank case vent kit (with catchcan) but still have stock air intake hose if you would like to return the CCV back to stock
• Rotella ELC lifetime coolant
• Dieselsite Coolant filter kit
• Billet thermostat housing
• Wicked wheel an non-EBPV pedestal and hi-flow exhaust outlet
• International “Bellowed” up-pipes
• Air condition vacuum valve added (completely shuts off coolant flow to heater core when a/c is switched to "recirculate" ---- gets SUPER cold for those hot muggy summer days)
• Water pump and thermostat replaced within last 15k miles
• 6.0L transmission cooler
• Riffraff Diesel intercooler boots with billet plenum inserts
• Roof cab lights
• Billet grille insert
• 2008 rear differential cover
• NEW front brake pads, rotors, wheel bearings

There are also some items currently on the truck that I will let go with vehicle for the right price. These include:

• DP tuner – No start, Stock, 60 HP Tow, 80 HP Tow, 80 HP Economy ($300)
• DiPricol Optix gauges (Trans Temp, EGT, BOOST) in 4-guage a-pillar pod (300)
• B&W gooseneck hitch (with installation costs $500-600),
• JL audio 500 watt amp do drive subs ($250)
• JL audio 10" subs (2) in custom subwoofer enclosure ($250)
• Sony 500 watt amp pushing front and rear pioneer 5x8's ($150)
• Recon “Line Of Fire” Led light bar ($100)

I would typically be removing these items and swapping them onto my other truck. I know when selling a vehicle these items don’t necessarily increase the RETAIL value, but there is inherent value. If the buyer is interested in these items (any or all) if the offer is right, I will let them go with the truck. Given the mods and upgrades I’ve made to the truck, I am asking $13,000 OBO for the truck (will negotiate) or $14,500 takes everything. I’m open to offers, and willing to meet if you are interested to see the truck in person. More pics are available upon request.

sorry, I need to delete this thread. I sold the truck last week for $12500 with chip and gauges only. Sold this one, and traded the '05 in on an '08 King Ranch with everything, and got a lower payment than I had on the '05. 4.2 percent financing to boot. can't believe it.
