V10 swap starting monday....

Hey everyone, I'm swapping out my blown V10 in my 99 SD and putting in a lower milage mill, starting Monday. I'm in Marlborough and have all tools, engine hoist, lotsa jack stands, etc.......unfortunately truck doesn't fit in garage, too high.

Any volunteers to help? I'm pulling old engine hopefully on Monday and new one is arriving in afternoon. Probabely wont be able to get new one in until next Monday unless I have help.

Paul

Hey, sorry man. I won't be able to help at all. I will be working Monday, and then have a basketball league game that night. Good luck to ya though!

I'd love to but by the time I got there it'd probably be getting close to dark. Maybe 2:30ish by the time I got there.

Got a street address? I'll try to make it at least. Not sure I'll be tons of help since I don't know a darn thing about those sparkplug fired contraptions but I'll try.

I may be down for a little while, even though I won't be too much help in terms of knowledge. I do have to work that day, so after work?

You guys rock, if we can even just get the old one out it will be a huge help.

We can work at night, I have lights....Nose of truck is right at garage door.

Feel free to add your first name to the top of your Sig. Makes it a more friendly environment if we can go by real names.

i will be working in Long Island, maybe ill be around for the reinstall. it should go pretty smooth, those engines are not very complicated to remove.

Thanks you SO much Brendon and Pete, you guys were a huge help today in the couple of hours we could stand the cold. I wouldn't have half as much done without you.

I will get the new one on the stand this week and try to get the things bolted on that we need. Hopefully it will be Monday I have the same time slot in the afternoon to get it done.

Again thanks so much, I really appreciate it.
