Fast or Holley EFI?

I have a 429 in my truck. I have been kicking around the idea of putting EFI on it.

Anybody heard any feedback on these on a 429/460?

I have been searching some on EFI, i have a 93 F-250 with a 460 and efi and when it comes time to rebuild i was thinking of going to a carb set up unless i could find a somewhat resonable priced system. but for now it looks like a carb.

another option!

check into boss efi. retrotek. nice efi system and have been looking into these myself. Haven't ran any but really like the boss efi system and heard some good things. Read the installation instructions and see what capabilities it has. It has a self learn program but if you call tech they can help clear up any questions, spoke to them myself.

I'm looking at going with the FAST system myself. It will work with the stock pumps on my 90 F250 and from my past dealings with Comp Cams, they make good products and stand behind them too.

77custom, I did the full conversion from EFI to carb on my 90 because of the cam/compression/etc I went with. PM me if you want more info on what all you need to do to swap over on your 93

I'm pretty sure that I am going to go with the Holley HP EFI. Still debating on the TBI or the MPFI. The Multiport is better in my opinion, but said and done it would be another $1000 dollars or so. I like the versaility of the Holley systems, they have many other features than what I have seen with some of the competitors. I currently and running an Edelbrock 1407 750CFM carburetor, but it doesn't seem to like this Arizona heat. Seems like I have to mess with it every other year to get it to pass emissions testing.

A complete Avenger system at SummitRacing is $1999.99 The HP computer is a little bit more money, but there is more hardware if you wanted to control additional items. Also the computer will still work if you go from TBI to MPFI down the road. From the youtube videos, it looks like a snap to program as well.
I have been searching for an EFI system for a long time now, and I am pretty much sold on this one. It seems like a whole lot less of a headache, and is actually cheaper.

No, I don't work for Holley.
