Weird Turn Signal & Brake Problem

Need the brain trust's help. I have a 2005 F250 King Ranch. Yesterday when turning to the right, the turn signal did the rapid click thing. Stopped, checked and both the signal and brake light not working on right side. Removed light cover and bulb looks fine. Next switched good bulb from left side to right and odd thing, now both stopped working.

Will meter the rear sockets tomorrow. Anyone else have this problem? Do you think it could actually be the turn signal switch? Thanks in advance for any advice.

I'd say it's probably some corrosion. Clean everything up and try again. If it is corrosion, put some dielectric grease on.

Ditto on the Dielectric Grease. I've pulled all of my outside bulbs and done the Dielectric Grease thing! :)

Sorry, couldn't pass it up.

Cleaned everything. Not the connection. Checked the bulb connection with a meter and not getting any juice. What next, maybe the signal or brake switch. Anyone else have this problem?

NO BRAKE OR SIGNAL LIGHTS

Check the wiring harness a foot or two further forward of the driver's side tail lamp--there is a connector there that all the rear light circuits go through. Pull it apart and check for corrosion. If you dont find any, check for voltage there with the 4 way flashers energized. 2 of the pins should have power in unison with the 4 ways flashing. If you still don't have power, keep going forward until you hit another connector--it should be somwhere by the cab door--check for the same thing. If you have no power there, then I would suspect the directional signal switch.
