Double Cardan dust boot

I'm replacing the universal joints on the front drive shaft of my 2001 F-350. I've got all the old joints out and am in the process of replacing the ball and socket joint. Has anyone else gone through this procedure? How did you get the ball and socket out? It looks like I'll need some type of puller as it's pressed in. I've found the replacement parts but the one part I can't find is the large rubber dust shield that presses onto the drive shaft. Anyone have a part number for this? Ford dealer said I need to but the entire assembly. They were no help as always.
Thanks,
JEV

I am having the same problem.
Not sure how to get the ball off.
So far the best thing I have found is a whole drive shaft for $175 from a junk yard, but I really don't want to pay that.

How much did the part you got cost?

The ball and seat kit aren't that expensive. I think they are around 40 to 50 bucks. I finally found a website that was selling parts for rebuilding drive shafts on the superdutys. I ended up ordering the dust boot through them and I'm going to pick up the ball kit today from a local parts store. I got the ball out of the yoke by bringing it to a local shop and the guy used a blind hole puller to yank it out.
