Bench seat storage
Removed my rear seat last week and framed in a flat deck with five storage bins, hatch covers and a bull rail to keep things from sliding off.

Wow that looks great.

You won't need a bottle jack but a bottle of JACK! lol Looks good. What about a chunk of carpet held in place with velcro to hide from prying eyes?

Thanks. I think it worked out pretty well for a 3-hour project.
http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...penHatches.jpg I was tempted to put a drawer on the drivers side as a place for wrenches and tools. The advantage being that you could access this storage even if the deck was loaded. For what it is, I think it is a drastic improvement over packing stuff under the bench seat and having more stuff in loose milk crates. |
heres a thought they also make tool boxes for the bed of the truck.
