Motor Rebuild
 
Hello everyone, just trying to see if anyone knows of a good place that does machining on motors. trying to get my motor rebuilt here soon. And also if youve been to the place that your suggesting can you let me know about how much it cost ya to get it done.

I would've suggested Waterhouse Motors in Tacoma, but I understand they've shut down.

well thats no good. from what i understand napa does it, but havent confirmed that. maybe ill look into that.

Yeah, I've heard Napa can do it too.

Maybe they can give out names of others as well?? Wouldn't hurt to ask them!

My opinion is that you should research some local auto machine shops by attending local car shows or online groups for suggestions. In my past experiance I found it was best to deal with machine shops that help support local racers. If they don't do a good job.....no business. Cost is dependent on what you want done. You can go fom mild to wild so it depends on the application. Book stores and Amazon are good places to start.
