Badazz Pict's (Almost) And Non-Tech Jiberish

If anyone hasn't noticed, the thread has been renamed by Carlene, the original topic was split. All for the better I suppose. Here's the threads purpose now.

I'd go with Ed's pumpkin or Gearhead's F-350.

My two favorite trucks i've seen so far. ;)

Bender99 11-02-2009 01:51 AM

Ed, do run your rears that low in the mud?

79Ford4x4 11-02-2009 08:13 PM

Blueoval_boy_64-That is a nice truck. I like the bed. It's a beautiful thing when someone takes a little pride in their work.

Prozon 11-02-2009 08:35 PM

Blueoval boy, get that damn paintjob done. Haha.

I thought there was like a 35" tire requirement. Read the first post. This isn't just anything, this is the extreme trucks. Your truck doesn't even have cupholders.

it would have 35s if the border guys would get their heads out of their asses long enough to get something done...

as i said before, prozon, this is FTE not your fantasy world, i dont think there are any 12 year old girls here man ;)

Prozon 11-03-2009 01:18 PM

35 ponies huh? I'm jealous. My 460 only has a couple hundred. :P

kjett 11-03-2009 04:59 PM

Hence the crop dusting, lack of articulation, and bogger welds on my roll cage :-duel1

Prozon 11-04-2009 12:10 AM

Hav24wheel, i'll tell you if it qualifies when I make it down to your house to drive it.

Prozon 11-04-2009 01:19 AM

Hahahah. Wow..

Prozon 11-04-2009 12:46 PM

Yup, thats all it needs. Some 40's and ditching the front blocks.

Prozon 11-04-2009 03:59 PM

Pretty sweet truck. Did you get any water in your gas tank? Or rear axle?

Prozon 11-05-2009 02:47 PM

Hahah. Changing wheel bearings outside of autozone huh? That sucks. :P

Sorry, didn't see the rust on the exhaust tip the first time I looked at it

I was just being a smart ass in my last post, point I'm trying to make is that street tires dont belong in this thread.

nice bad ass trucks guys...

Prozon 11-07-2009 11:59 PM

Half doors arn't my style. To wet and cold in Washington.
I don't know about you guys.. but I have no fun wheeling when i'm freezing my ass off.

When I go up in the snow I usually wear like three layers of socks with my boots, and then throw like four shirts and a big coat on. Along with sweat pants under my jeans just to keep me a little warmer. :)

I'm just a happier person when i'm warm. And its kind of fun to lay in the snow and not get cold. Haha.

wyoming4x4 11-08-2009 12:22 AM

Lots of clothes

Thats a lot of clothes to be wearing. Does your heater work? I wheeled in the snow up till mid june here in wyoming this yr. Snow is up in the mtns pretty good right now. Haven't got to play yet but soon. Been making upgrades to my truck here lately.

wyoming4x4 11-08-2009 12:32 AM

Miss surf fishing!!

Used to fish down in matagorda beach area and surfside, texas city. Heard the hurricane really messed things around last september. Used to cruise matagorda with my truck all the way to the end about 21 miles, good wheelin. Like the truck and brings back good memories back in the day.

Prozon 11-08-2009 12:37 AM

Yeah the heater works amazing.

Actually I had the window down. But when i'm outside of the truck I like to be warm.

Like last December, there was probably 10 trucks waiting to go up the road because some in a stock expedition went off the road. And the roads up there are like.. wide enough for one truck the whole time, so you need to find widespots to let someone pass. Kind of pisses you off standing in the cold when there's 40 people around you. I was winching the guys trailer out of the way and a bunch of people kept walking around my winch line, so I had to keep stopping. Really started bugging me about the stupidity of some people.

Moral of the story? Half doors suck.
Hahaha.

wyoming4x4 11-08-2009 12:48 AM

Understand about stupid!!

Found some people in flip flops stuck in the snow digging out their avalanch with a big golf club this yr. This was about the stupidest thing I've ever seen but his wife was hot and we helped with a good pull from ditch. AC in winter sucks. Catch you later headed to bed get some sleep.

Hahaha.

O'yeah everybody with a avalanch or rubicon or new landcruiser got stuck and nobody had a winch except us. Crazy stuff, been sucked in by good comercials I guess. I run a 77 ford 4wd heavily modified.

Prozon 11-08-2009 01:27 AM

I guess the guy's friend was stuck at the top.

Turns out the guy's friend had rear ended a hummer and smashed his front end. What I thought was pretty stupid, in the end the guy drove up the mountain without his tow dolley thing.. and they drove the Toyota down. So if the stupid Yota owner had just driven further down the mountain, the expedition wouldnt have got messed up and the day would have been full of alot more wheeling.

Scottdl99 11-08-2009 02:37 PM

My truck....which is for sale also...

Better off if you banned yourself, noob.

It was made clear from the start that this thread was for the most bad azz 4x4s in here.

Not for people to post their street queens that they are posting for sale

i am the noob?

i dont go bashing other peoples trucks because they dont fit into that particular category...bad ass to you means one thing, bad ass to him means something else...obviously in his eyes his truck is bad ass (its beast for that style of truck ill give it that) albeit those trucks are my least favorite ford trucks but he has obviously poured a lot of work into it to make it the way it is, so while you may not see it as bad ass (guys with bad ASS trucks spell ass properly too:-lamesign)he does

you said most bad ass 4x4 fords, that is very broad, if you wanted to see trucks YOU think are bad ass post a thread called "78-79 4x4 fords with 44 inch tires 1 ton axles and big engines"...then you will get what you want and not trucks that YOU think are "pavement queens"...for all you know this guy could actually be using his truck off road

theres another truck in this very forum just like that one right down to the color, it has 1 ton axles and 44's would you call that a pavement queen?

Prozon 11-16-2009 01:02 AM

Can't we all just get along? :-partybud

hav24wheel 11-16-2009 08:21 AM

If u guys are talkin about Scottdl99's pickup, I would have to agree, that isa not a bad ass 4x4. That would be like me putting pics of my DD in this thread. A half ton pickup with JUST a lift and tires if far from bad ass. Tires require a gear change, goin off road requires some traction adders and the list goes on....

...this thread is reserved for the baddest of the bad! The ones that inspire the rest of us to set our 35's on fire and buy that big lift lol.

Just so you all know. There are some requirements.

The truck must:
Make you want to burn a 35" tire.
Buy a big lift.

Just for future reference. I just have to say, I would not set a 35" tire on fire seeing another 35" tire or something smaller. :-missingt

Im glad most of you get it. I thought I was super clear and specific what this thread was about but I guess some of the kids are just slow :-X04

captain p4 11-16-2009 12:31 PM

Guy was obviously just trying to sell his truck, he's never posted before and puts up a picture to let everyone know it's for sale.

Prozon 11-16-2009 12:51 PM

Lets post it in the mall crawler thread. :-X24
