Good morning Vermont truckers and Vermont woodchuck wannabees. Thunder, lightening and rain for your morning enjoyment. Toyhauler is back home with new LED taillights and a new wheel bearing. Otherwise all looks good after a thorough safety inspection.

You have M's do the work? Did it need new bearing or preventative maintenance?

Looks like your kids picked a good weekend yo visit weather wise. Maybe you will see how well your gully holds up to flash flood today :-hair

I had Marcel do the inspection and work. Only one bearing was questionable. He saved it out for me and it has a "hitch" in it. Not smooth when you rotate it. Might not have been a problem but cheap insurance and way better than having to do it along side the road somewhere.

So far so good - my riprap job is holding up very nicely. The water levels aren't all that high but CAX says flash flood watch for today so we shall see. I'm not expecting much.

Kids picked a great weekend. Got to unhook the RV this AM and get the kayak rack mounted up so we can get some paddling in this weekend.

Nice. Our kayaks haven't left the barn yet. Sad.

Which brings me to an interesting question..... WHy don't all of you Vermonters have gutters? Rain just pours off the roof with no particular direction in mind.... never seen such a thing,.....well since last time I was here...

Today's rain did add around 1-2" to the depth
