Nice work looking good.

Got over cold and got some work done. Didn't like how bright the yellow flames looked so I toned them down with some gold highlights and a touch of red-orange across the nose... A little cleanup, bath and tack and it's clear coat time! :D

Now get the clear on it before you change your mind again!!:D |

Now.. HOW DO I INSTALL CARPET ? :-X03 Sounds good!!:-X22 Carpet? I'm installing mine with a brush and a roller.:-X24:-X14 But I suppose roll on bed liner goes on a little different then carpet.:-X04 I have no clue when it comes to carpet except all the tv shows say to let it set out in the sun for a little bit to make it more pliable. But I don't know how well that would work in the winter.:-X04 |
that truck is gonna turn a lotta heads, it looks fantastic. i'll be sure to keep a lookout for it if you'er cruizin in the mountians down around ohiopyle.
|
Tele...
If I can afford the gas and you go to cruises, maybe we can hook up one of these years (years as in, when it's done)! :-missingt Just a couple turnpike exits and a shot down 119. Went to scout camp for about 10 years down in Farmington on 40 (couple mi. from Nemacolin.) |
yeah, know what ya mean(years) i finally set a 57 panel on a streched 79 bronco frame,i'm waitin on the rebel wiring harness but there's plenty other things to do( frenched caddy tail lights -box recess in firewall- on and on. i'll send pix soon as i can figger out how to post'em, the camp is on dinnerbell road, i work out of the state shed right before you get to the camp, been kinda busy with all the snow lately anyway hope to see that badass black truck toolin around down here in the mountians. happy trails.

Got the clear on.......
http://www.computerliterates.com/47f...b/100_0731.jpg http://www.computerliterates.com/47f...b/100_0732.jpg Now the next miserable phase starts, 800 block for the "boo-boo's", 1500 block, another coat of clear (with more light and patience), the cut and buff and then I get to work on something other than painting ! :-X09 http://www.computerliterates.com/47f...b/100_0733.jpg |
Oooohh SHINY!!:D:-X22:-X22 It's clear to me that you do good work!:-D Looks sweet!!!:-X22
I'm kind of weird but I actually like wet sanding. I find it relaxing.:D But I also prefer doing metal work and paint work over doing mechanical work. Even though I'm not very good at either!:-X14 |
Ted.. Don't mind sanding and buffing the last coat as it is a way to the "finish", the 'tween sands kind of drag on and on.. :-X22 Maybe cause I get to see every little imperfection as it drags down my "painting" ego. :-X03
