Got the 89 F250 running. Traced problem down to the distributor. The module or the pickup tells the computer when to fire the injectors. Rather than remove the distributor to try a new pickup, I bought a new distributor for almost the same price as a pickup. Came with a pickup,cap and rotor. Installed a new module before putting the dist. in. Runs good again:-jammin |
Good to hear that you got the '89 running again. I would have done a hard pass on that house too because you never know what kind of money pit you will open up when you start to fix things up.

Sensational Saturday morning New York, Neil, George, Steve, Matt, Denny, Craig, Shaun, Bud and all the crew reporting. Rain ending shortly but the temperature will be about 42°, Overcast and some wind. Other than a short shopping trip and lunch out, It will be an inside day for me!

Going well here Steve. How are you today?

Kind of tired. Pulled the gas tank out of my '93. Wouldn't be as hard if up on a lift but laying on the floor and reaching up is getting tougher these days. Fortunately I don't have any pressure to get it done.

Getting down to crawl under a truck isn't too bad......It's the getting back out and up that's a problem:-hair
