Lucky, mine has seperated and am chopping out the rot and replacing with new, fiddly work.

I also have another chassis that is double and another plate on top of that for additional strength, triple layered.

Same suspension and diff through all.

Mine also has the cable/shaft handbrake system.

Fingers crossed on the rims, nobody in Perth is of much help.

mine has cable shaft handbrake as well it the same as that on on sale am thinking of bidding on it. ill see how much freight is first tho

Thanks for that, I was going to bid but thought 1 is enough for now. May go for a lot or not so much hard to tell.

Sanky is a split rim as well, I am chasing 1 piece rims but its looking less and less likely to find.

I have a spare set of locking ring types here also as well as the banded widow makers. Perhaps I put the locking rim types back into service.

If its of interest, that truck sold for $10k today, maybe they are more popular here than I first thought.

yes here is another one https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/clon...uck/1207289550
they are but not as much as the smaller pickups a f2 1951 sold on the gold coast two months ago for 75000 it had a ls1 in it and was nice but that is a bit over the top i think

hamptonsgarage 03-18-2019 10:03 PM

I am a larger truck fan myself, but I use it for work.

75k is pristine COE pricing really but as long as the value is climbing then it cannot be a bad thing.

aussie bl 03-19-2019 06:10 AM

me to im going to use mine as a work truck as well looking forward to it but still a long way of unless i come into some cash lol oh well
