Finally got the heads off last night. Oil pan and cam comes out tonight, then a good washing before she starts going back together.

Went to get tires put on and discovered that 2 of my solid aluminum wheels were badly bent so I ended up putting on black American racing wagon wheel styles on my black f150. Too much black? The interior is red except for the seat and the front bumper and push bar are chrome

Sarahsman11, we can't give our opinions without a picture ;) Post one up and you will get all kinds of opinions on it.

Since we finally have nice weather that's going to last I went ahead and gave my truck a nice detailing. And for anyone out there with Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac's, never try and tire shine those things... Its a PITA...

Changed out the transmission fluid and filter and replaced a bunch of burnt out bulbs. Also just picked up a set of the original style 16" steel rims with tires because it is diffcult to find 16.5" tires for the wheels that are on my truck. I'm going to paint the wheels but haven't decided what color to use, thinking either black or maybe a steel gray/silver color. Anyone done this, if so, i'd love to see some pics if you have any.

Went out, and cleaned my interior out...Gave everything a fresh coat of cleaner, sprayed some of my favorite bodyspray on the seat/Headliner...

And yes...Cologne DOES make GREAT air freshener...:-X06

Last night I finished cleaning what is left of the engine last night, then went off to Maine. My mother thinks I need a haircut, and dragging me across 4 state lines for 3 days was the only way to get me off the truck. Hopefully I'll start reassembly on Saturday.

I thought about it, maybe some one can help.
How difficult would it be to move my shifter from the tree to the floor on a '53

Encho, If you want to pay for a round trip ticket to Caracas I will definitely clean your interior ;)
