Morning Nebraska!...

Well we stayed above 0 here in Indiana last night!

My time on-line this weekend will be much reduced since we'll be at the State Park...stay out of trouble!

Stay warm out there!

Joe.

Good evening all. About 6-8 so far here at the house. Grand. I'll get to spend the morning blowing all of this white crap off my driveway, and the mother-in-laws place. I do plan on taking the kids sledding, so there is a bright spot, however brief, in all of this snow!

I had something VERY INTERESTING happen with my 89 over the last couple of nights.. After installing a CB I went to turn my truck off and she would not stop running! I pulled the coil wire to kill it. The next day I tore my column apart with my dad and we found a little potmetal actuator had broken, the one that links the rail to the ignition switch rod. So after about 5 hours and $15 later I had her all fixed up. Then in the morning, she wouldn't start! First she wont die, then she wont start... whats next?... So after screwing around with it today, I discovered that the neutral-safety switch is shot... I fix one thing and then I end up with two more problems.. I also fixed my starter problem I was having, by adding a couple of washers to the bolt holding the cable to the starter. No more clicking! Also, no more cranking or running.... :(

Brandon, welcome to the world of owning old trucks! Just spent 4 hours snowblowing here and at my mother-in-laws. I hate winter.
