Man, what a terrible, sloppy game. They had, what, a dozen penalties?? These guys better get it together, or this will be a really long year! I know they have work to do, but this was kind of silly!

Almost (and should have) beat Ohio State yesterday... OSU played a horrible game. THe bobcats were ahead until the 4th qtr. would have been nice to see an upset like that. i hate OSU. :-jammin



Nebraska didn't look good either yesterday.. both sides of the ball... if they continue to play like that, i might have to add another loss or two to my prediction. :mad:

Have you guys seen the teams that NU is scheduling for the next 8 years? Instead of the Callahan cupcakes, they have Washington, Tennessee, Miami, UCLA, and Fresno State scheduled. I'm liking that, be nice to see some good games, against some good non-conference teams!

i agree.. bring in the best.. lets play them! give us the USC's / Georgia / UAB / Ohio State (can't believe i put them in the best rankings.. i hate them!!)

I think it's better for a team to be challenged early too. All that moron Callahan wanted to do was get some easy wins, since he knew the conference was going to kick his butt!

I wasn't all impressed with our team last week. We looked terrible the first 3 quarters. Our offense had it's moments, but no where near what I thought they could be. And our defense needs to step it up. Anyone who runs the spread offense is just going to tear us apart unless we make changes. But, even if we improve our defense which will happen, our offense has to get first downs to give our defense breaks. WE can't go 3 and out all the time. Even a good defense will get tired. But, I will say, we wore out San Jose State. The 4th quarter we just beat them up. I'm hoping that will carry into this week.

My pick NU 34 NM State 17. Not a blow out, but a win.

Well, that game looked a hell of a lot better. I was glad to see Patrick Witt get some snaps. It was obvious that he needs them, by the way he mishandle the snaps. A week off will be good, hopefully Pierre Allen will be back. Not sure exactly what happened to him.

yeah.. the Huskers looked much better this week. but we will soon find out how good we are, as we have VT and MIZZO next!
