yes it is embossed and i painted it i took the springs to peaces two leaves were snapped in two and some of the others werebits out of other trucks and maybe a tractor every thing was renewed clips bolts etc

Awesome good job Stuart. I should be doing the same thing to my rear spring packs. What did you use to remove the U-bolt nuts? I have 3/4" and 1" impact guns but don't have room to use them.

yes i found it hard i used a tube socket and a brakerbar with a bit of pipe to get some tourke it took some time used half a can of wd40 to keep the temp down so good luck with yours

"6050 is the generic number for a cylinder head. 81 indicates that it was designed in 1938. Specifically that cylinder head was used on 38-42 trucks, although it could have later been put on a flathead of other years." - Mike, not me.
