Nice mpgs there!

It may have been better if I didn't spend 45 minutes on stop and go back roads trying to get around construction.
It is the lie o meter, I did check it a couple times from camping and it was real close to the real deal. Not sure if it is always close though. |
Came home yesterday and this was waiting for me.
http://www.martinezcasitas.com/Excursion/IMG_2379.JPG I am all ready to install but wife decided to do a garage sale so I got booted from my work space. Hopefully I can get it done after. Tim M |

Traveling today. Pulling 31' TT we got 8.3 MPG on 10% blend. Lie-o-meter said 8.6. Filled up up with non-ethanol and within 75 miles it climbed to 9.1 MPG on LOM. Sitting in Cabelas parking lot in SD watching some Thunder storms brew. Wind has changed direction 10 times.

Used the old girl to haul lumber and a few 8' tin roof sections. Swallows it up like nothing! Try that in a Camry!
|
What are you building Tim??
|
A paddock for the chickens. 8x8x8, fully screened with a tin roof. Its attached to the coup. Some of the neighbors have been losing chickens to a predator, probably a coyote so we are going to pen them for awhile.

Changed the oil and looked over the brake lines. Looks lovely under there, aside from being dirty as the underside usually is. ;)
http://www.ohioactionimages.com/EB/EX2.jpg http://www.ohioactionimages.com/EB/EX3.jpg Also tried a little safety wire on an offending heat shield. Not sure if it will fall off in a week and give somebody a flat, or actually get rid of the occasional buzz and stay put for a while. That SS wire is tough stuff. Didn't have a clamp handy, I was there and so was the wire, so we'll see. :) http://www.ohioactionimages.com/EB/EX1.jpg |

Sounds exactly like the materials I used for my chicken coop. The tin we had left over from the shop build. My chicken coop looks better than my house... |
