Sparky83 03-08-2015 10:36 PM

worked great...

donjamer 03-08-2015 10:38 PM

I guess that's all that counts

The biggest issue is the bed floor that already had several large holes in it, but when the shackle broke, it put the leaf spring right through the bed making a larger mess.

It's a never ending battle trying to keep rust at bay

Sparky83 03-08-2015 10:47 PM

I'm calling it a night. Good night Don, Neil, and Shawn TTYL guys.

It is never ending up here. I am sure vehicles rust down in VA, but they are not subjected to the constant barrage of road salt like they are up here.

tiny1 03-08-2015 10:50 PM

Have a good one Rick.

donjamer 03-08-2015 10:50 PM

Maybe you need to clean yourself more often..LOL

donjamer 03-08-2015 10:50 PM

Goodnight Rick

depends on what part of VA you live in Neil... Closer to the Appalacians they get about as much snow on a regular basis as you do.. sea board side doesnt use road salt as often (unless your on the peninsula) but we got a whole different problem... we get sea salt blown in from the ocean that also hangs out in the air till it finds something to land on and does just as much damage as the road salt does... ntm with it landing on the roads as well anytime you get a bit of rain it gets kicked up onto the under carriage... and the constant warm humid air all summer doesnt help slow down the rust none either...
