After hitting 6 stores, as I walked to the checkout in Pepboys, I realized I had 2 bottles of RP 75W-140 and 2) 75W-90  they had them all in one slot.

I gave the oil pan ( on the 2000 ex) and the front diff cover the Por-15 treatment!

Degreased and power washed the engine bay today getting water in the power steering pump which lead to a power steering flush with merc 5.

Only things left now are new tires, trans flush, and pinion seal/diff fluid change. Then this X will be prime an good to go for the next 90K miles.

Can someone post a pic of these late model differential covers please?

i washed mine up and worked on some of the scratches with rubbing compoud. my next step is to remove all the tar, clay bar it, compoud/buff the whole truck and then wax.

Thanks howler, I was looking at CFR's website that has something similar in a polished aluminum. I may just go with them for slightly more.

I just went threw all this not long ago with my X. I have found that regular gas works great for removing tar off the plastic running boards and lower skirts.

Diesel fuel actually works better because it's less harsh on plastic.

Yes the gas will dry out the plastic. After I got all my tar off I went back and oiled all the plastics with some plastic/trim conditioner.

New tires came in! Went to buddies shop and mounted and balanced the tires myself. So far very happy with them!

Routed the wiring to my new Ultragauge and flipped the armrest covers around this morning.
