Morning everyone...I'm so thankful we got out of KC when we did last night. Freezing drizzle...need I say anymore? Week from Saturday is Christmas...where in the world has the year gone?

I tell ya, with the junk that is out there for sale, patching the ol Pete back together is looking better with every trip we take.

I guess I missed the part about HOW you did the damage? I realize we're talking about a Pete and not a Bulldog (know through most of NA as a "bullet proof truck")....but I've put a KW through some "hell" hauling machines and never broke a frame. Though I did shell a drive shaft once pulling a D6M out of a muddy/sloppy job site. Oops!}>

Not my fault, this time :-X10 It's a 86 model and has seen duty in northern states with salt. Frame was weakened behind several brackets from salt damage, too many heavy loads of logs and woods roads finally took their toll. :-X18

So, this afternoon I take the boss over to see her mom where she's buried. On the way back decided it would be a great idea to fuel up on some "cheap" Okie fuel (their fuel taxes are lower than Ark). I'm sitting at the green pump with white letter that says "DIESEL"...the Pavement Princess is idling as I'm fueling. Guy walks up to me as asks...."do they have diesel fuel here?".:-X05 Got to love them Okies.

Is that your story? And are you going to stick to it?;) Thus why I'm so thankful I don't live in the north...just hoping SW Missouri doesn't use salt on their roads as well...or they've got heated car washes to get that crap off the underside of my truck.:-X16

Nice truck! Six or eight squirrels under the hood?

Will P. 12-18-2010 08:02 PM

It has eight squirrels that take up about 4.6 liters of space!

Kewl, power and fuel efficiently. After all those miles in the Danger Ranger, how will you ever adjust to your new surroundings?

Good morning Arkansas! :)

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

great looking truck Will!

Will P. 12-19-2010 02:37 PM

Thanks everyone. I guess I'll just have to spend some more time in the drivers seat so I can get used to this bigger truck. I really like the line in jack for the mp3 player and the four doors, the V-8, more leg and head room, and, well you get the idea. I loved the ranger a lot because it was a great truck. It wasn't as fancy or as big but it did everything I ever asked it to. I got a lot of use out of that little truck.
