GTPSteve have you tried the ASE tune?

wrangler76 02-04-2008 01:16 PM

I've been running the ASE for the last month.... The increased power and better shifting points does great to compensate for the 37's I'm turning....

Joshua0606 02-04-2008 01:19 PM

I think im going to try the ASE first.

I tried out the hybrid race last night. WOW I liked it but it just seemed a little to much. What kind of mileage do you get with the hybrid race?

I do think there is a backup stock tune to PC option, but I have not tried to restore from it.

When I updated my livewire to the newest firmware, it could not recognize my truck. At first I thought my stock file was lost, but I couldn't figure out how to restore it. I have it saved on my computer, but the PC software doesn't like it when I try to transfer it to the livewire. I put the older firmware back on my livewire and it works fine now.........

yup....I did that couple weeks before I got the firmware

KRDiesel 02-05-2008 02:35 PM

try this. 1. return truck to stock. 2. update flash 3. update canned tunes 4. then try and flash truck to tune.

if that does not work you may have to call SCT or your dealer.

Did you ever get intouch with Matt and order proper tunes? if so then do not worry about the canned tunes!!

i hope you're joking ~~

there is no "tuned for elevation" unless you have a carburetor...

fuel injected vehicles do not need to be "tuned for elevation"
turbo charged vehicles do not need to be "tuned for elevation"

turbo diesel vehicles use sensors such as: MAP,IAT1,IAT2,MAF,EBP, and many others to determine fueling ..

turbo vehicles are ALWAYS AT ELEVATION no matter what,

But if one of those sensors--especially the MAP--is jacked-up, your truck won't run the way it should no matter what. Death Valley, Mars, no matter. Without the MAP keeping a relative to sea level pressure, your toast. Nothing else will ever be right.
