I think the OP is saying he knows he has a D60 why keep beating it to death.

I don't mean to keep feeding the fire here but I would like to see a set of 44 hubs that look like 60's. My closed knuckle 44 sure didnt have them and I never seen any that did. I can't see how its possible the internal hubs of the 44 and 60 are totally different sizes. I've seen the large external highboy type 44 hubs put into the HP 44's but never a 60 hub stuffed into in early LP closed knuckle 44.

The lockouts, as well as the hubs, do not interchange between any D44 and any D60 front. That includes the D44HD. The lockouts that were the genesis of this discussion, the factory ford spicer units that fit the D60, WILL NOT FIT A D44 or D44HD. Period, point blank. To say that you had them on a closed knuckle D44HD is false. They are both chrome plated with a red center dial and allen head screws, but they look COMPLETELY different. I don't see how anyone could argue that. I'm done waging battle with people that haver no clue. Believe what you want. I'll just keep collecting the 60's.
