sounds like you may need a new pump to me. ive never known one to go less than full. so youve run seafoam through it... have you really revved the motor at all? like got it hot and sent it to the moon for more than a couple seconds?

External trans filter is a good idea. Might have to do that myself if I end up holding onto this truck for a while.

Yeah, I've driven it pretty hard. I love the sound of the 351 :)

I'm going to order a new external pump in the next few days. Can't hurt to change it out now before it craps out for good. Going to drive it to work tomorrow to see how it does. Taking my fuel pressure tester with me in case it starts acting up again.

I was looking at the inline pump earlier and it looks to be original. The outer case is quite rotted, guessing the inside isn't much better.

When I turn the key and prime the pump, it only runs to about 20psi. It slowly climbs to 35 when it is running...maybe 30-45 seconds.

I've been building race cars and jeeps for the past 10 years...and it's always been full pressure at prime. Is this lag normal for the dual pump ford setup?

Lag isn't normal. Have you changed the filter lately? If the filter is good the pump(s) are failing.

Yeah, filter is brand new. I put a new in tank pump in the other day...so it looks like I'm going to order that new inline pump tomorrow.

Here's a shot of the new marker lights.
<a href="http://s976.photobucket.com/albums/ae245/ZombieClyde/Marker%20Lights/?action=view&current=IMG_0593.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae245/ZombieClyde/Marker%20Lights/IMG_0593.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
I still want to add 3 orange lights above the front license plate, 3 red ones above the rear license plate, and some running lights along the rocker panel.

Thanks Trey. Loved your videos, btw. I haven't been on FTE for a few days so it's always good to see what all my buds are up to.

Nice Bro! That thing is BEEF! The zombies aren't going to stand a chanch against that thing. I actually have the same lights you have mounted in the center. I used them on my 4Runner for a while but I think they're going to become cargo lights for Clyde here shortly. That reminds me, I still haven't hooked up my back up lights. Sheesh! So much to do this weekend! Rear shocks on my wife's 4Runner, spark plugs on Clyde, oil changes on both, and lights.
