Loaded Clyde up with my wife and my two dogs and picked up a few bales of bermuda for the farm. The new dizzy and wires seem to be helping a little. I need to get off my butt and put in my new spark plugs, though. That should help immensely. As for the fuel leak, it doesn't seem to be an issue anymore, although I'm probably always going to take a knee and check every time I get out. I guess that's the beauty of an old truck. Paranoia keeps your attention on performance.

took the body lift off the cab of the truck. Gonna start working on pulling the bed off soon. But I don't think I'll be putting it back on. Gonna work on a flatbed for it.

Stuff for "The Buffalo"
Added a (free) almost new Drake Welding, Inc. Lumber rack to the truck. It looks great with no bent hooks!
Why? Because it was a $1,200 USD rack for free? I dunno . . . It's hard to pass up a deal like that. Ray |

And no, I do not do cellphone shots with my Motorola W385 because 640x480 @ some lousy quality doesn't cut it in my book. :D Ray |
Got the tach and the new switch for the cargo light mounted today. I'll finish the wiring this week. Had to clean the MAF sensor to get the check engine light to go out.

They're from Creative Engineering Offroad. Custom cut, one-of-a-kind, that I paid extra for, so I'd be the only person to have 'em. Creative Engineering Offroad Fabrications - Home |

upload them to photobucket, or a site like it, then whenever you want to post a pic, just cut and paste the IMG code from photobucket to your post and it'll be there |
Covered it in grass again mowing the lawn, so I gave it a bath when I was done with the lawn.
