Almost lost a wheel....
Went driving up a dirt road to do some plinkin' and drove around a bit, taking it real easy actually, started hearing a clunking noise. I stopped looked at suspension, driveline, etc, couldnt find anything out of place. Went along my way down the dirt road a bit farther, still clunking off and on. Stopped a ways further down, shot a few things, happened to glance at the passenger rear wheel, only 1 lug nut on it :-hair. So called up my step-dad to come bring me a jack and wrench, found out it didnt have one, took 1 nut off 2 wheels to get it home. Tightened down all the rest of the nuts, pretty much all loose, should have probably checked on those earlier, but no harm done except for a broken stud.

thats gunna be pretty impressive. Especially in that your building it.
I had a 550/475 351w that came from carolina motors, and it ran like a scolded rabbit. I hope you will keep us posted on the build.

Cleaned up the stock steel wagon wheels, removed the broken screws for the center caps and painted them the same color of the truck. Reinstalled the trim rings and center caps. The look good now wrapped in the 33" Super Swampers.

Also finished my back up camera install. I notchout a spot right next to the tailgate handle and installed a back up camera from a 2009 Silverado that is normally located in the tailgate handle. It's connected the my Pioneer AVIC-N3...it works great and has the auto light adjustment and a very wide viewing angle. Now I can hook up to the camper with a quickness.
