I just put a couple Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2's on my truck and I love them. The have a good ride, good traction, good handling in snow and ice as well as off road. I like them much better than the BFGs that were on there before. Time will tell for the tire wear. I have had them on for 5-7k miles now. Just finishede a trip from Atlanta to NYC and back and had no trouble on the raods in Virginia going through freezing rain. (Although i did have to stop a couple time to scrap my windshield and bang out my wipers). They always have a confident feel. I drive them over ice the last couple days here in Atlanta where there are no road crews to handle that kind of weather and as long as I wasn't accelerating much or braking hard, the stuck to ground pretty good. I cought a sale and paid about $360 for a pair a couple months ago for 285/75/16 E-rated.

I should have also specified mine are 270/75/R18's..

That was a great price for tires in that size

The Dueler's are prob the best tire ever made for trucks. The trick is to get them. Always backordered and pricey. I don't have 'em cause the wait was over a month back when I needed tires.

I just wanted to update my post. I went and got the Wrangler Duratracs and i think they are great so far. I had to wait 3 weeks for them, but with only a few hundred miles on them i am very pleased.

Those tires look good.Do you feel any of the mushy,sidewall flex that some reviewers have complained about?Are they available with black sidewalls?

They look great on your truck. Same size I'd be getting. They do look more aggressive on the truck than in the pics though. Very nice.

You're right,I'm not thinking right this morning:confused:

I drive in western washington where there is no such thing as a straight road and i have not noticed any side roll. They are inflated to 65PSI and from what i have read it sounds like those who felt the "mushy" side roll had their tires inflated a lot lower (i have heard as low as 35). This concerned me as well but they handle fine.

I won't be towing until may or june so i can't speak for how they will handle for that but once i do i will try to post an update.

One thing i did notice while researching these tires is these are horrible on the dodge's and 50/50 on the chevies. It has to have something to do with the suspension. As for the Fords it seems like most people liked them.

Hey guys, thanks for all the responses. I went with toyo open country ATS and I love them. They are on 18'' American Racing Hoss rims that are flat black. I will post pics as soon as i can

I put the Duratracs on my 2006 F-350 CC in September 2009. I wanted to put Cooper M&S tires on, but I needed 18" tires, and the Coopers only go up to 17".

I was wary of putting them on initially, as I had Wrangler RTS's (I think) on my first plow truck and they were terrible. I got rid of those and put Coopers on.

The Duratracs have been absolutely great though. I'm in Central NY and plow. Have had no problem whatsoever. I push snow way off onto grass and make bit piles, and I have't spun or got stuck at all this year. I'd have to say that they are just as good or better than the Coopers that I had on a previous truck.

I keep mine at 75 psi. They make alot of road noise, but I like that.

I think you'll be happy that you got them.

Just an update:

I have now towed my 10,000 pound 5th wheel to Southern California and back (about 3500 miles total) on these tires.

The ride was great, no traction problems at all, and very little road noise (which i do like by the way). They do feel softer than my stock tires with weight on them, but not unmanageable. I towed at about 65mph and had no problem, but when i got over that speed, the front end would tend to sway a little - again, not unmanageable but noticeable.

Overall - I am very happy i chose these tires - they look awesome, ride great, provide superior traction, and did I mention they look great on my truck????
