Silly me - I forgot to say anything about who I was!

A long time ago, in a world forever changed from what it used to be, I lived in a row house (Condo? Townhouse? Whatever...) somewhere in Delaware. And then Poppa transferred to a new job in southern California, and us kids got to see the USA for the first time by looking out the windows of a 1953 Desoto....

Decades later, here I am at the Big River end of Tennessee (Memphis - Home of the Blues) after spending 20 years in the NAVY somewhere in between.

I like riding wheelies on my slightly modified Craftsman lawn tractor, dodging rednecks and school bus drivers on the Tennessee backroads, building wild engines of my own while the rest of the guys around here settle for whatever smoking heap of iron they can trade for, and laughing about the misfortunes of my estranged wife and her current boyfriend.

I also work on RV's for a living, used to be an FTE moderator AND Chapter Leader at one time or another, and generally write a lot of cool stuff while drinking my fair share of cold beer.

Put BLUNTLY - I'm just another schmuck! :-tap

Dutch, not true. You are no schmuck! You just sometimes sing a different tune.

Welcome to the Delaware Chapter. Your friend George.http://www.websmileys.com/sm/fingers/fing02.gif

Ahh, the boys and their toys. Great pic.

Greywolf 01-08-2007 06:38 PM

Not staged at all either - I got it almost vertical two weeks ago!

PS: The tractor is nicknamed "BULLFROG"

DoubleJ73 01-08-2007 08:25 PM

BTW...I LOVE that tractor pic....gives me some great ideas..!

Nobody has ever come right out and told me I'm crazy as hell....

Funny about that.

If you want "GITTY UP" you gonna git gitty up - no matter what you have to do to get it.

But be safe! We want you back alive.

The only safe place to go racing is on a race track.
Public roads are off limits...
