Great to hear you got it fixed.

this is happening to me also.

I read a bunch of threads similar to this one , but this one has the most info. I will try the mastercyclinder replacement since it is cheaper than a whole brake booster replacement, and I will update the results here. thanks guys.

Replace the master cylinder. It fixed my brake problem. Just be very careful when prying the plastic fluid reservoir off of the old one since you need to install it on the new cylinder.

Ya, Thanks for ALL the info guys, it helped me significantly and saved me loads of time troubleshooting. I replaced the master cylinder for $40 bucks parts. chewed up the small brakeline bolt pretty good, (rust sux) but it got loose finally and reinstalled. Parts guy said don't bother to replace it since it's not leaking stating that it's a nightmare to reflare the brakeline end just to replace a chewed up bolt taht isn't leaking, don't fix what is not broke he said. Prying off the reservoir was scary also. In 15 more years I don't think it will survive another prying lol, the plastic at the bottom turned "whiter" from stretching being pryed off. But anyways, in the end, it WAS the mastercylinder. Thanks again everyone.
